Privacy Policy

Plens is built to keep the details of your day on your iPhone. This policy explains the limited information used to operate and improve the app.
What stays on your device
Your tasks, task notes, captured videos, generated daily recaps, app settings, and notification schedules are stored locally on your device. Plens does not upload this content to its own servers or to its analytics provider. iCloud device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings.
Permissions
Plens may request camera and microphone access to record task videos, photo library access to save or select media, and notification permission for reminders. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Analytics and diagnostics
Plens uses PostHog to understand basic product usage and diagnose crashes. This may include an anonymous user or device identifier, coarse location derived from an IP address, product interactions, other usage data, crash data, and diagnostic data. These identifiers can link events from the same installation. We use this information for analytics and app reliability, not advertising. Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.
No tracking or advertising
Plens does not sell personal data, show third-party advertising, or use collected data to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
External services
The app may retrieve a public minimum-version policy hosted on GitHub. This request does not include your tasks, videos, recaps, or notes. GitHub may process standard network information under its own privacy terms.
Children
Plens is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app has no account system, public profiles, social feed, messaging, or user-generated content sharing.
Changes and contact
